About me

As someone who’s always ploughed their own furrow, being a self-published author suits me. The research is interesting, writing needs intense concentration, and making stories into well-presented books is a great project.

For many years I travelled constantly, working with educators and school systems all over the world. My retirement ‘bucket list’ was all about putting down roots and writing stories, and that’s what I’ve been doing very happily for the past decade or so, living close to the mountains and our wonderful Cumbrian beaches.
